Colours bring life to a painting, and in the spirit of creativity, a Thumb Printing Competition was organized for Pre-primary children by the Language Club on September 3, 2024. The event took place in the classroom from 11:30 a.m. to 12:40 p.m., and the excitement among the little ones was palpable.
To spark their interest, the day's activity was explained to the children beforehand. The competition began with an outline drawing of an umbrella and a fish, providing a delightful canvas for the young artists. Each child eagerly dipped their thumbs into vibrant colours and imprinted them onto the outline, transforming the simple sketches into colourful masterpieces.
It was a joy to watch the children carefully select their favourite colours, filling the pictures with bright and varied thumbprints. Their faces beamed with happiness and satisfaction as they saw their creations come to life. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and joy, as each child proudly contributed their unique touch.
The event concluded with a group photo, capturing the smiles of the children and their colourful artwork. It was a memorable and joyful experience for all, leaving the children excited and content as they returned to their class.
