In an effort to strengthen students' cognitive abilities and enhance their critical thinking skills, the Science and Mathematics Club of Mount Carmel School organized an engaging Puzzle Solving Competition on 17th June 2024. The competition saw enthusiastic participation from 129 students across Grades V to VIII, who competed to complete the puzzles within the stipulated time. .
The event aimed to sharpen problem-solving skills while fostering a spirit of healthy competition among the participants. Each student tackled the challenges with focus and determination, showcasing their logical thinking and perseverance.
During the event, Principal Fr. Suresh Saldanha addressed the students, urging them to make judicious use of their time and knowledge. He appreciated the students' impressive performance, particularly during the visual rounds, and encouraged them to continuously update their skills to enhance their competence for future competitions. The Puzzle Solving Competition was a resounding success, inspiring students to think creatively and apply their mathematical and logical skills in a fun and challenging environment.
