Patriotic Song Competition

On the 17th of August, 2024, Mount Carmel School organized a Patriotic Song Competition for students from Grades 1 to 8, under the banner of the Social Club. The event was held to celebrate the spirit of unity and love for the nation, while also nurturing the students' musical talents and performance skills.

The competition commenced at 11:00 AM in the school auditorium, which was adorned beautifully in the vibrant colors of the Indian flag. The stage was set for the young participants to showcase their vocal talents, and the atmosphere was charged with excitement and national pride

The students performed popular patriotic songs with passion and enthusiasm, singing melodies such as “Nanna Desha Nanna Usiru Bharatha,” “Hindustanavu,” and “Mera Mulk Mera Desh.” Their heartfelt renditions filled the auditorium, evoking a sense of pride and unity among the audience.

Each performance was evaluated by a panel of esteemed judges on various criteria, including memorization, voice quality, fluency, rhythm, and overall stage presence. The children’s enthusiasm and dedication were evident in their performances, as they poured their hearts into every note..

The competition saw active and enthusiastic participation from students across all sections, making it a highly spirited event. At the conclusion of the competition, three outstanding performers from each section were recognized and awarded for their excellence.

This event not only allowed the students to express their patriotism through music but also provided a platform for them to develop confidence and stage presence. It was a memorable celebration of national pride, leaving both the participants and the audience with a deep sense of love for the country.
